New chef, new dinner menu!

The Tamarind is back for the 2025-26 season with an all-new menu from St. John chef Isaac Buckner (that’s him after he won St. Thomas’ King of the Wing cooking contest). No one is spicier, and now he's at the Tamarind offering his own Cajun-style menus from 5-9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. See the new menus at the links.

The Tamarind dishes up "St. John's best breakfast," as voted by the readers of the Virgin Island Daily News. We specialize in classics such as omelets and French toast, steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy and the on-the-go favorite, the breakfast burrito.

On weekends we do our famous “Benny specials” — eggs benedict, florentine and blackstone.

Breakfast is 7 to 11 a.m. Monday to Saturday; Sundays 7 a.m. to noon.

Our locals-favorite bar is open daily all day long, so stop on by the Tamarind!
